About Me
My Story
I have always had a deep love for the arts. It started with a book called "Panda Bear's Paint Box" and my own little paint set. Over time I explored painting, drawing, theater until I found photography in 2006. Since then, my passion is capturing life’s special stories. Moments that withstand the test of time; moments that the next generation will look back upon to be filled with joy and light.
Being able to tell a story and express emotion through a single image truly makes my soul happy. I love pushing my own personal creativity and capturing things that are outside of the box.
Hi! I’m Melissa, the human behind the business! I am currently based in Louisiana, after moving from Charlotte, NC where I photographed weddings for over 8 years.
My own treasured photos are those that capture an emotion, a moment, a memory; my grandmother’s soft hands holding me in her arms; the tears my father cried as we danced at my wedding; that moment I first held my children. Those are the type of photos I aim to capture for my clients to treasure.
