Max and Alexandra . Cypress Grove Wedding . Eunice, LA . Wedding Photographer

On the 2nd of June, I left Lafayette and headed to Eunice to capture the wedding of Alexandra and Max.  They were wed at the quaint Cypress Grove Wedding Venue.  Cypress offers guest houses for the wedding party to get ready in.  I started there, capturing the girls getting their hair and makeup done by the talented Shane and Cody.  I love getting ready images, and all of the emotions that go on during those first hours. The excitement, the silliness, the butterflies as the minutes count down.  After capturing the detail shots of the rings, dress (BHLDN), and shoes. I moved over to the ceremony site to grab some images of the venue before the guests arrived. My little ring shot heart was so happy, as Cypress has the most unique knick knacks and I posed their rings several times over.

Max’s expression when Alex emerged to walk down the aisle was priceless. I adore this sweet couple so much.  The ceremony was short and sweet, with a limited number of guests. I love that they did this. It is something I would have done (had we invited more than 20 people to our own wedding). The remainder of the guests arrived to celebrate with the couple later following the ceremony… and spent the evening under the stars.
